Salaam, dear members!

Could you please explain the meaning of "cranks it up to 11" in the following sentence?

"To commemorate the occasion, Lamborghini has created a limited-edition masterpiece called Centenario (“centenary” in Italian) that takes everything the Raging Bull has stood for over the past five decades and cranks it up to 11."

It's a reference to a movie about a (fake) rock band, "This is Spinal Tap."

One of the band's members had a guitar amplifier whose volume knob went to 11, rather than the standard 10.

He was asked why they didn't just make each setting louder and have a maximum of 10. He answered: "this one goes to eleven."
The meaning of the reference is that it is not only "cranked up" to 10, but all the way to 11. It's everything you would expect from something that was at its maximum, and then one more.
