That is unnatural. The past simple would be fine in that sentence..

But in an earlier post #14 you told me that past simple couldn't be used with this sentence?
 
Post 14 was about one verb, post 18 about a different one,


Sorry, I'm lost here. Could you please tell me again your choice of tense for each of these:
A few months ago I had not even heard about your agency.
A little while ago I didn't even know you existed.
 
So, I don't get it. Would it be fine to say A few months ago I didn't even know about your agency or not?
 
Yes, that sentence is OK.
 
OK. So, saying A few months ago I didn't even know about your agency sounds fine to me, but if I change the verb "know" to "hear" and say A few months ago I didn't even hear about your agency it actually sounds a bit unnatural. Am I wrong?

I'm sorry, now I'm on track with your posts. But still, is this all about the verb "hear", that it can't be used in past simple?
