"I just set all the Dim options to NEVER or NO and that settles it

I have a hard enough time reading a Laptop screen without it being dimmed."

The above is copied from a computer discussion , the writer disbled the Dim option and he wrote " I have a hard enough ...being dimmed"

What does "hard enough time" mean ?

Can I say he intentionally create a hard time for himself?

not a teacher

The hard time he has reading the screen normally, is difficult enough. So he has no interest in having it dimmed, which would make it even harder.

'Hard enough time' means that it is already hard/difficult without making things worse by changing something.

The writer capitalized laptop for no particular reason and omitted the period after settles it.

Can I say he intentionally create a hard time for himself?

He actually is trying to achieve the opposite- to minimise his difficulties. He finds laptops hard to read, so he has disabled the option so that the screen doesn't become even more difficult to read.
