I wrote this essay for practice, please check it for errors. Thank you so much.

How often do you read?
Do you have many books at home?
Do Vietnamese people like to read?
What kind of people like reading and what kind of people do not like reading very much?

I am a kind of people like reading, I read many kinds of books such as novel, poem, comic, etc. Especially I do like to read comic book very much, I do not know why I do like to read it most, maybe that kind of books is make me curious, or it is proper with my age. So in my room I have so much books, it is look like a small library, almost of my book is comic books, for example: Conan, Doraemon Dragon ball. Now, talking to Vietnamese people, they like to read, almost of them like to read, some of them maybe do not have time to read due to their work load.Example about some kinds of people like reading books so much such as, teachers, doctors, engineers, especially writers. And some kinds of people they do not like reading very much.

Here are a few hints before we work on the grammar and vocabulary:

- Study the difference between "much" and "many".
- Put a space after every full stop.
- Remember that you can't use commas in place of full stops.

Which test are you practising for?

Are you taking the general or the academic test?

Hi teechar.
Academic test, I think.

Are there any differences between general test and academic test?
I do not know how differences they are.

Hi teechar,

Thank you for your sharing things to me.
I am taking the general test.

Thank you again.

So are you writing this as practice for task 2 in the general IELTS module?

You are expected to write at least 250 words for that. The text you posted at the start of this thread is not even 150 words. I also don't think the prompt you included is typical for IELTS.

I searched online and found the website below which has more realistic prompts. Take a look at it and choose one that you like. Don't click on the "View a model answer for this question" link; that would be cheating. ;-)

Post back to let us know what prompt you chose. Don't write anything at this stage.
