There has always been world wide demand for good teachers to teach English as a foreign language. It is necessary to have a teaching qualification, recognised by international organisations, such as the British Council. Very few schools employ unqualified or poorly qualified teachers. Therefore, more and more people take a TEFL course to gain an initial teacher training qualification. CELTA is the most popular course in this category.
The course combines theory and practical activities, and different sessions which cover how to teach vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and writing. Every trainee needs to work closely with their colleagues to plan their lessons, prepare activities, show they can develop rapport, give clear explanations, do repetition drills, and correct mistakes.
During their teaching practice, trainees get the opportunity to teach volunteer students. Although a lesson may occasionally be unsuccessful, they must not get disappointed. In spite of the fact that course is demanding, it definitely helps trainees to become more confident, independent, and professional. Most people tell they would have taken the course earlier if they had known about it.

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

You said this is a "completed task". That leads me to assume that it was a homework assignment. What comments and corrections did you get from your teacher when you got your piece back?
