Hi teachers.

I remember when I was young. My grandmother usually asked me and my cousin to clean the rubbish on the floor. And we had finished, we usually said "We've swept off the rubbish".

I wonder if it's natural to say so.

OK, except for the term "rubbish", you would more likely hear/use "trash" in AmE.
