Concerning pronunciation of the words: 'Casual, television'

    Hello there!

In the series 'Toast of London' Steven Toast pronounces the words mentioned above in a most intriguing way. These words sound somewhat French-esque: 'cazjual, televizjon'. Why would that happen? Is it but a charming peculiarity of his`? Is it fine to pronounce these lexemes the way Steven does?

    Thank you!

    No. It's unnatural.

Incidentally, though we use fine meaning acceptable/OK in affirmative sentences, we don't use it in negative or interrogative sentences.

Don't use Steven Toast as a model for your own pronunciation!
