hello!can you tell me what is the meaning of "alternate days" in this👇sentence?
(I go running with friends on alternate days.In a job that is largely sedentary,It's important to stay physically healthy)

3. ADJECTIVE [ADJECTIVE noun]
If something happens on alternate days, it happens on one day, then happens on every second day after that. In the same way, something can happen in alternate weeks, years, or other periods of time.

Lesley had agreed to Jim going skiing in alternate years.

Hello!

Can you tell me [STRIKE]what is[/STRIKE] the meaning of "alternate days" in [STRIKE]this[/STRIKE] the following sentence?

"I go running with friends on alternate days. space here In a job that is largely sedentary, space here it's important to stay physically healthy."

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

1. Your title used "alternative days". That's not what you're asking us about.
2. Start every sentence with a capital letter.
3. Always put a space after a full stop, comma, question mark or exclamation mark.
4. Put quotes around quoted text and tell us where you found the quote (we need the source and the author).

To be clear: alternative is not the same as alternate. The former is incorrect in this context.
