It's factually dubious.* It would be grammatically correct if it ended with correct punctuation.

It's not wrong (punctuation aside), but it's a bit wordy. I think sometime like "The keto diet gave me a lot of pimples*" is more natural.


You can omit 'on my face'. We normally assume they're on your face, unless otherwise specified.

*you might also hear 'zits' instead of 'pimples'.
