"A striking difference can be found in the category, with 55% females as opposed to 45% males." Is this grammatically correct or should I use the singular form "55% male and 45%female"?

For example, "A striking difference can be found in the category, with 55% females as opposed to 45% males."

Is this grammatically correct or should I use the singular form "55% male and 45% space here female"?
You can't open with "For example" unless your preceding sentences tell us what it is you're giving us an example of. There are no preceding sentences in your post (the title doesn't count and, as you can see, I've changed the title to make it unique and relevant to the thread). Note my other corrections/comments above while we wait for you to respond to Rover's question.

It's IELTS writing task 1. We are asked to compare the proportion of female and male holders of bachelor's degree from a bar chart. The bar chart shows that 45% of bachelor's degree holders are male while the rest 55% are female. I need to compare this data, following the sentence structure: "A striking difference can be found in the category, (data 1 and data 2 - in this case, is 45% female and 55% male).

45% of bachelor degree holders are male. The rest are female.

Are you supposed to use the phrase "a striking difference"?

**holders of bachelor's degrees

@Ngoc Hoa, if you want to ask about IELTS writing tasks, please include a picture of the chart so we can see what you're thinking. Thank you.

I'm just asking about grammar! It has nothing to do with the content.

What I'm asking is, if I am listing the percentage, how should I write it?
Maybe it's a stupid question and people can't understand, thank you.

You were the one who brought up the fact it's an IELTS writing task. If we're going to comment on the correctness or otherwise of your sentences, we'll need to see what you're basing them on.

What I'm asking is, If I am listing the percentage, how should I write it?
That depends on the context and that's why we need to see the full question and the chart.
Maybe it's a stupid question and people can't understand. Thank you.
It's not a stupid question. You just haven't provided all the relevant information. We're perfectly capable of understanding the rest.
