Hello.

I'm looking for an idiom which means you find something "strange" and "unnatural".

What is an idiom I can use in a sentence like this:

Staying up until morning doesn't come naturally to me.

I'm looking for an idiom I can use instead of the underlined part.

There's not one fixed phrase for it. What you have is fine. You might also say something like:

- isn't second nature for me.
- isn't my normal routine.
- is a challenge.
- doesn't agree with me.
- is usually a struggle.
- isn't like me.

Other folks here might have more suggestions.

Staying up all night isn't my thing.
Staying up all night isn't my bag.
Staying up all night doesn't float my boat.

Is this natural?

Staying up all night doesn't agree with me.

It's natural but it would be taken to mean that it makes you feel unwell or, at least, under par the next day. It doesn't suggest you find it strange or unnatural.

I'd use the idiom "is not my cup of tea," even though I don't even drink tea.

Staying up all night is not my cup of tea.
