Hello. I've got a question about collective nouns (team, government, family, band, herd, etc). What about the word "money"? Is it a collective noun? Or it's just uncountable and cannot be treated as a collective noun?
And one more question) The word "collection" is a collective noun. Can this noun be followed by singular or plural verbs like "the family was / the family were"?
Thanks.
