Two representatives of our company, comprising Smith and Richard, as well as members of the Management Committee Paul, Peter and Diana, attended the seminar.

In the above sentence, are the commas in red needed? And is 'comprising' needed?

Thanks.

'Comprising' is wrong. I'd write

'Two representatives of our company, Smith and Richard, as well as three members of the Management Committee, Paul, Peter and Diana, attended the seminar.'

One odd thing is that "Smith" is almost always a family name, while all the other names you've used are all given names.
