I try to use the comparative to rewrite the seentence "Your car is five times the price of mine." as written. Is it acceptable?

Your car is more expensive than mine by five times the price.

Your original sentence is more acceptable than any others I can think of.

Your car is more expensive than mine by five times the price.
These sentences are inconsistent. If my car is more expensive than yours by five times the price, then it is six times as expensive.
(Yours is $10,000; mine is 5 times more expensive -- that is, $50,000 more expensive -- making it worth $60,000.)

"Your car is worth 5 times as much as mine." (Or 6, as the case may be).
