Hi Friends!

I'm a bit confused in a sentence. The sentence is A -The football star, I admire most, is Cristiano Ronaldo.
B-The football star I admire most is Cristiano Ronaldo.

Please tell me which one from the above sentences is accurate.

Hi Friends!

I'm a bit confused in a sentence. The sentence is A -[STRIKE]The football star, I admire most, is Cristiano Ronaldo. [/STRIKE]
B-The football star I admire most is Cristiano Ronaldo. :tick:

Please tell me which one from the above sentences is accurate.

The commas in the first sentence make what is in between them a non-defining relative clause. They act like brackets, so the main sentence reads : The football star is C. R. (and I admire him most). Not what you mean.

What you really mean is that your most-admired football star is C.R. Sentence B does the job.

I thank you so much Fivejedjon for your help. I really appreciate your way of expressing :) Thank you so much Friend!
