Cooked for ten minutes, the rice is ready to eat.

I wrote this sentence to mean after the rice has been cooked for ten minutes, we can eat it. I’d like to know whether the sentence makes sense.

I wrote this sentence to mean "After the rice has been cooked for ten minutes, we can eat it".
Then say it. It is far less unnatural than your other version.

How about:
Having been cooked for five minutes, the rice is ready to eat?

I can’t imagine anybody would say that.

Can I say the sentence above to mean “I can’t imagine anybody saying that”?
