Which one of the following correlatives is correct and why?

1) I have none else than you.

2) I have none else but you.

Did you create those sentences yourself? If so, why did you choose the rather odd "I have none else" to open with? It's not wrong but it's very dated (old-fashioned). Do you know what a more modern opening would be?

I don't know. Could you please tell me?

I don't have anyone but you.

I haven't got anyone but you.

I have no one but you.

I have no one else but you.

I don't have anyone else but you.

Was "I don't know" the response to question 1, 2 or 3?

I have no one but you.

I have no one else but you.

I don't have anyone else but you.

How about 'I don't have anyone except you', or 'You are the only one I have' only if I don't have anyone at all.

What are the answers to 1 and 2?

The answer to the question 1 is "Yes" and I did it on my own. I wasn't aware of the fact that the usage is old-fashioned.

I have used the correlatives 'other...but' and 'other...than' in the following sentences:

1 ) I have none other but you.

2 ) I have none other than you.

Can these correlatives be used instead of 'else...but' or 'else...than'?

Focus on natural language like what native speakers use. Number two is grammatical, but nobody would ever say it. We'd say "I don't have anyone but/other than you."

OK. But could you please tell me if the following sentences are natural or not?

1 ) This is none other but the house of God.

2 ) This is none other than the house of God.

Number 2 could be natural in a formal context. It has an old-fashioned feel to it.

The most natural way of saying it in everyday BrE is "I've got no one except you".
