Hi everyone, are there any mistakes or repetitions in this piece of writing? I'm grateful for any contribution.

Once he was well enough, Yang explained to his son in simple terms what his medical condition had been and what Rui had done to cure him. Gan’s recovery impressed the council of elders who looked forward to Yang advancing his work to a more practical level of usability. The nanobots Rui had used to save Gan were amazing, just like any new technology but, on the other hand, they were too simplistic in operation; they couldn’t be programmed to work autonomously. Rui realised he needed to design a nano-computer for each bot so that they could be programmed to perform specific tasks. Each nanobot had to be capable of working individually or together and in various sized groups.
