hello Greetings from Greece!
Could you please comment on the following two sentences ?
Actually, to be more precise, What’s the difference between these two sentences:
1. Diana stayed with her cousin, Angie in France for a week.
2.Diana stayed in France with her cousin Angie for a week.
(a). Which sentence is grammatically / syntactically correct?
(b.) If none of them is correct , which is the correct version ?
Best regards,
Jim

Either way. It doesn't matter.

You've got three phrases here, each giving a different kind of information:

  • place (in France)
  • duration (for three weeks)
  • manner (with her cousin Angie)

The order that you put the three phrases has nothing to do with syntax and everything to do with what you want to say. Put whichever phrase is most important first. Since you've used the verb stayed, I'll guess that's probably either going to be the place (in France) or the duration (for three weeks). Put the next most important element second.

Actually, to be more precise, what’s the difference between these two sentences?

1. Diana stayed with her cousin, Angie, in France for a week.
2. space here Diana stayed in France with her cousin Angie for a week.

(a) no full stop here Which sentence is grammatically/syntactically correct?
(b) If none neither of them is correct, which is what would be the correct version?
Please note my corrections above.
Don't put a space before a full stop, comma, question mark or exclamation.
Don't put a space before or after a slash mark.
Don't use a capital letter after a comma unless the first word after the comma is a proper noun.
