what could be the possible difference between rob and steal? In what context, are each of them used?
 
Legally, "robbery" requires the presence of the victim. An element of the crime involves fear of bodily harm. Stealing/burglary does not. However, in common usage, several terms are often used interchangeably.
 
What could be the possible difference between 'rob' and 'steal'? In what context[no comma] are each of them used?
