What it is difference between "came across" and "... 've come across"?

For example:

1.I've come across the simplest solution to looking bigger.

2.I came across the simplest solution to looking bigger.

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

"I've come across" is a contraction of "I have come across", which is the present perfect tense.
"I came across" is the past simple tense.

Have you studied those two tenses yet? Do you understand how they're used?
