I ate persimmons and drank milk together last night then I felt uncomfortable. I went to the hospital and the doctor treated me and I felt better. When I left the hospital, the doctor advised me "Don't eat persimmons when you have a hollow belly". This is my translation. The doctor wanted to say "when you don't have anything in your stomach, don't eat persimmons because you'll get stomach stones".

I wonder if the italic sentence is natural.

It's understandable but not natural. Say "Don't eat persimmons on an empty stomach."

This is the first I've heard of "stomach stones". If they're supposed to be accretions similar to kidney stones or gall stones, I don't think they actually exist.

Wikipedia thinks they do exist. Like you, I had never heard of them. There's not a great deal on the web about them, so they might not be very common.

Oh, calculus definitely exits, and is very painful indeed. I had recurring bouts of it during high school and college.

It hurt worse than algebra, but not as bad as differential equations.

PS In Portugal, I was told not to drink wine and eat watermelon together for similar reasons. I tried it and nothing happened.
