Please note my corrections above. Make sure that you write complete sentences in your posts. Which parts of that sentence are giving you particular trouble? Can you give us any idea what you think it might mean?

"He was also
a man who was as well known for the three-thousand-dollar Italian
suits which draped his well-fed frame as for his remarkable string
of legal victories."

Please tell me the basic meaning of this sentence. [STRIKE]in easier way.[/STRIKE]
Thank you.

He was also a man who was
as well known for the three-thousand-dollar Italian
suits which draped his well-fed frame
as for his remarkable string of legal victories.

He was known equally for two things:
1- the expensive Italian suits which covered his well-fed body,
2- his remarkable record of winning legal court cases.
[cross-posted with ems]

As well as he being possibly overweight ("well fed").
