Is the word embodened used sarcastically here? Or is it simply neutral?

Given the definition by Merriam Webster ("The meaning of EMBOLDENED is made bold or bolder : instilled with boldness, courage, or resolution.") It seems to be either sarcastic or neutral. I am not sure.

It's not sarcastic. I wouldn't say it's completely neutral, but it's certainly not sarcastic.
