Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"He climbed the green wall that had the "sidewalk closed" sign and realized the workers have gone home. After he climbed down off the wall, he walked down to the sidewalk where they'd been repairing pipes. The left side of the ground was full of small holes. On the left, he could saw a ladder.

To the right of the ladder there were several deep holes, but he decided not to walk under the ladder, where it was safer, but picked the dangerous path because he was very superstitious.

He walked as if he were balancing on a rope. Finally he reached the other wall. He climbed over and getting off the wall, he began walking the streets again.

Thanks.

Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"He climbed up the green wall that had the "sidewalk closed" sign on it and realized the workers [STRIKE]have[/STRIKE] had gone home. [STRIKE]After he climbed[/STRIKE] He got down the other side of [STRIKE]off[/STRIKE] the wall [STRIKE], he[/STRIKE] and walked [STRIKE]down[/STRIKE] over to the sidewalk where they'd been repairing pipes. To the left, [STRIKE]side of[/STRIKE] the ground was full of small holes [STRIKE]. On the left, he could saw[/STRIKE] and there was a ladder there.

To the right of the ladder there were several deep holes, but he decided not to walk under the ladder, where it was safer, but picked the dangerous path because he was very superstitious.

He walked as if he were [STRIKE]balancing[/STRIKE] walking on a tightrope. Finally he reached the other wall. He climbed over and getting off the wall, he began walking the streets again.
The highlighted text is vague. I don't understand much of it.

Re: He climbed the green wall that had the "sidewalk closed" sign and realized

To the right of the ladder there were several deep holes, but he decided not to walk under the ladder, where it was safer, but picked the dangerous path because he was very superstitious.

I tried to write, that after he climbed the wall and got down, he saw a ground with small holes in the left side and big holes in the right side but with a ladder and the only way to pass was under the stairs. But he chose the left side anywat, because he was a very supertitious man.

Thanks.

To the right of the ladder, there were several deep holes, but he decided not to walk under the ladder, where it [STRIKE]was[/STRIKE] would have been safer, but picked the dangerous path to the left because he was very superstitious.

He [STRIKE]walked[/STRIKE] went on as if he were [STRIKE]balancing[/STRIKE] walking on a tightrope. Finally he reached the other wall. He climbed over it and getting off the wall, he began walking the streets again.
