"Will" can indicate both prediction and intention. Yet what puzzles me is how to tell wheter a specific "will" is used to denote "intention" or "prediction”. As is referred to in the title, for instance, is "intention" or "prediction" attached to the "will" in the sentence "He will leave tomorrow”? Or either can be assigned to it? Any help is appreciated.

Context.
If there's no context, and someone tells you that, you can say, "Sorry, but are you stating his intention to leave, or are you predicting that he will leave?" Of course, you'd ask this in a colloquial way, as in "How do you know that?" or "What? He intends to leave?" or "Are you just guessing?"
