How would you respond to the following question?

When A meets B:

B: Hey A, How have you been?
A: I've been great or I'm doing great or any other responses?

How would you respond to the question:"where have you been?" Are there any fixed responses?

I'd reply with "Fine, thanks". Note my correction above. The first letter after a comma should be lower case unless it's a proper noun or the pronoun "I".
