I had a talk with a group of friends tonight and we talked about how we celebrated the Chinese new year. Sherry asked if I set off fireworks and I said no. I told them that there were so many things we used to do in the past to celebrate new year but we don’t do them now. Spring Festival has become more and more boring maybe it’s because we grew up and we have so many things to be concerned about and we were no longer carefree.
I said:
I’m quite reminiscent of my childhood. Those are great memories.
The intended meaning is “I quite miss my childhood and at that time we did many interesting things during the spring festival. Those memories are great memories.”
Is the italic sentence natural?
