Please tell me if my understanding is correct.
1) I haven’t eaten beef noodles for a week. I would like some.
The state of not eating beef noodles started a week ago and has continued until now. I am not eating beef noodles now.

2) I haven’t been eating beef noodles for a week. I would like some.
The state of not eating beef noodles started a week ago and has continued until now. I am not eating beef noodles now.
We focus on the duration of a week here.

This is not a very natural utterance. We normally use the non-continuous form in negative sentences of this sort.
