I want to say a person's nail polish has a certain color. Which is better?

1. She always wears blue nail polish.
2. She always paints her nails blue.

Is there a better way to express the idea?

I'd go with the second.

1. That's fine.

If the focus of what you're saying is her nail polish, then you'd better use that as the subject of the sentence.

Her nail polish is always blue.
It's always blue nail polish that she wears.

If you start with She, your sentence is more about her rather than her nail polish.
