In a movie, one of the characters (an educated person) says

OK, I’ll do it, if it’ll make you feel better.

Is the use of the future tense in the subordinate clause OK in this sentence?

I'd call it a modal form rather than the future tense. It's fine.

One could almost argue for it to be some kind of conditional as well. Regardless of how you label it, it's not only grammatical but quite common and completely natural.
