The dicitionary provides us with:
1. capitalize on
2. capitalise or capitalize

Whenever I see simething ending with 'ise', there is usually a remark that 'ize' is also possible.
But this time there is no such remark. I stick to British variant only.
Could you tell me whether it is more safe to write 'ize' always?
The example is our word 'capitalize on'. I'm in doubt whether it is possible to write it with 'ise' and whether it is prudent at all to use 'ise' in any such cases.
Could you speculate on this?
