I think the answers are 'opened' and 'closed' and wonder if I am right.

Both open and opened are possible; open is far more likely, in my opinion. Close is not possible.

It's a common cause of confusion among learners. The two most frequently used descriptions for doors and windows are "open" and "closed". Learners get confused because "closed" looks like a past participle and they assume that the opposite of "closed" must end
"-ed". However, the two adjectives are simply "open" and "closed".

Of course, the verbs "to open" and "to close" have forms which end "-ed".
