Hi.

I am a host of an online English chat group. People are not allowed to send ads and links there. (Links mean that a link to some other websites or some articles.)

A woman (Let's call her B) usually sent links in our chat group. The titles of the links were okay because they were all for English studies. I sometimes did click and read the article but I found nothing unusual. However, I didn't finish the whole article. Yesterday, B sent a link again and the administrator said "No ads" because it looked like the link was talking about how to learn English but there were actually an ad in it.

I said to the administrator "I've never read that carefully into the articles". I also wrote another one "I have never looked that into the links".

Are both the italic sentences good?

I would replace never with not.
The word never is not meant to be freely used.

No.

I didn't finish reading the article.
I didn't read all of the article.
I didn't read the article to the end.

This sentence is missing a word. Hint: it's an adverb.

I used "that" as an adverb to mean "carefully".

I have never looked that carefully into the links.

Maybe this above one?

That's right. "That" doesn't mean carefully.

Can you think of a better way to express what you were trying to say in the line I struck out?

Is the above one better?
