Hi.

I wrote two sentences. Would you please tell me which one is natural?

1) Listen to music makes me relaxed.
2) Listen to music is relaxing.

The context is that someone sent me a piece of music and I had a listen. I then said the above to him.

Neither works. You need 'Listening' in both.

1) Listening to music makes me relaxed.
2) Listening to music is relaxing.

Are they both okay now?

They're both grammatical. Number one is not very natural.

Your remark is not specific enough to the particular piece of music sent to you.

In what form was it sent it to you?

He sent me a link and I clicked the link and listened to the music in that website. The music is good. Then I told him the sentences in the OP. Do I still need to use 2) for my context? Because GoesStation said the 1) is not very natural.

Your friend will expect a comment relating to the music he sent you. I take it it wasn't a heavy metal number.

Your comments refer to music in general, and are statements of fact about yourself, not the particular music in question.

If it's the particular music you're listening to that relaxes you, then you could say 'Listening to this music is relaxing.'

Also, adding 'this' to sentence number one makes it more natural in this context.
