Newspaper -> Press ; Cloth -> _______?

1.Tailor
2.Textile
3.Fibre
4.Factory
5.Mill

Answer given is 5. But I think 4 is also correct.
Factory and mill have similar meanings, And if it was something related to grinding food items, then I would be sure of mill. But just like we say a textile mill, we can also say textile factory.

I googled this question. All sites I looked had answer 5.

Why not 4?

The best answer is loom.

This is an MCQ. So please tell me which of those options is the most accurate.

"Press" is a place. "Loom" is not a place.

What? A printing press is a machine. I don't follow what you mean by place.

I agree with Goes. I said 'loom' to myself before reading the choices.

Perhaps the author mistakenly thought that a textile mill was a machine. Several kinds of mills (grinding mills, ball mills, machine tool mills) do actually refer to the mechanical devices rather than the building. Other types of mills (sawmills, watermills, paper mills) refer to the building rather than the machinery itself.

"Press" as in "printing press" where newspapers are printed.

"Press" as in "printing press" [STRIKE]where[/STRIKE] on which newspapers are printed.

See above. A printing press is a machine, not a location.

It can be a place, a business or an establishment according to item 2b and 6c in this dictionary:

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/press

Perhaps that definition is used in BrE. In AmE, publishing companies sometimes include the word "press" in their names. We don't normally refer to a location by that word unless we're referring familiarly to such a company's premises.
