Are these sentences correct:

1-Could you run me through your thoughts as you were solving this problem?

2-Could you run me through your head as you were planning to do what you have done?

I think they work. The thing is that 'as you were solving this problem' does not modify 'run' but 'thoughts'. In the second one, 'as you were planning to do what you have done' postmodifies 'head'.

Gratefully,
Navi.

They don't work for me. They don't make sense.

I would accept the first.

I would accept the first.

1-Could you run me through your thoughts as you were solving this problem?

How can that be acceptable?

It means "explain your thinking process as you were solving this process".

It doesn't sound very natural in BrE, but it makes sense.

Just another BrE/AmE difference.
