According to some grammar books on indirect speech, we can change the day before yesterday to two days before and the day after tomorrow to in two days' time. I wonder if we can change it in sentence 3 to two days after in sentence 4. Could you please explained to me the differences between in two days' time and two days after?
- "I travelled to Arizona the day before yesterday", said Jenny.
- -> She said she had travelled to Arizona two days before.
- "I am travelling to Arizona the day after tomorrow", said Jenny.
- -> She said she was travelling to Arizona two days after.
