My name is Ali and I am 56 years old. I was born in the United States of America. I grew up in California.
I studied all levels of primary and secondary education in California. .
As for the university, I studied at the University of California and graduated from the Faculty of Arts. And I worked as a teacher of the Arabic language in institutes and private teaching.

Then I went to Britain seeking work, and I worked in several companies in administrative and executive positions, and I worked as a private teacher for children, then after that I came to China and worked as a teacher of the Arabic language.

Note that your title should be "Talking about yourself". We don't tell about anything. You can, however, "tell someone about something".

That's a personal statement you have written.
Instead of saying you graduated from the Faculty of Arts of UC, it would be more useful to say what degree you obtained.

It doesn't have to be. The majority of my students in Spain were private. I never referred to myself as a tutor. I said that I taught private students.

I'm not suggesting there's much difference between them. I thought you were suggesting that "private teacher" should be replaced by "tutor".

There are tutors at universities who provide more personal attention and coaching to students in smaller groups, to complement formal lectures.
