Are the words in brackets also possible or should I remove them?
"For people, it's more convenient to use (the) car/their cars than (the) mass transportation systems. People pay no attention to (the) demand pressures. I don't think I will violate (the) (any) traffic rules. But my friend says it depends on (the)/a situation. I don't agree. I don't break (any) (the) traffic rules. If did, I would ask what rule I broke and pay (for) traffic ticket. I prefer to use (the) subway. If I am in a hurry and if (the) mass transport isn't working, I take a taxi. If (the) subway station is too far, I take a taxi."
Context for "demand pressures". "The government isn't facilitating the traffic flow. In addition, as more and more "demand pressure" is put on gasoline supplies, and as more taxes are added by the government to regulate usage, prices are rising dramatically."
