We can say:
1. I took ten minutes to open the window.
2. It took me ten minutes to open the window.

I’d like to know if we can also say:
3. The window took me ten minutes to open.

I suppose inanimate objects can't take your time, unless they are "personified".

I don't read any personification happening in sentence 3.

I also agree that sentence 3 is fine.
