[Grammar] This morning/in the morning today/today in the morning.

Let's suppose today is the 21st of April, 2016. Alicia gave me a book at 8:30 in the morning today. And now it's 7 o'clock in the evening on the same day (It is still 2st of April, 2016, the date hasn't changed yet).

How should I say it?

Alicia gave me the book this morning.
Alicia gave me the book today in the morning.
Alicia gave me the book in the morning today.

Which one of the above statements is the most natural one?
Are they grammatically correct?
Are they acceptable?

Use "this morning" if you are talking about the morning of the same day that you are saying the sentence. Your other two suggestions are not natural though they're not grammatically incorrect.
