Or
2. I often hitchhike.

Note my corrections above. Although #1 isn't grammatically incorrect, I doubt anyone would actually say it. Use #2.
Remember to end all sentences with a closing punctuation mark. You omitted two full stops and incorrectly used a comma instead of another one.
