Hello,

Can I use "uncharted territory" in the context of talking about the coronavirus?

Is this okay?

For how much longer do we have to incur social isolation, no one knows. We are in uncharted territory/waters with this virus.

I don't see a change. It's still fine.

I might not feel a need for For and do, but territory and waters both work.

I was just about to ask if endure is better.:)

Yes. That's exactly what you mean. I was going to suggest suffer, but endure is even better.

By the way, I've just spotted that you have an ungrammatical do. Remove do.

I also suggest using will before have to.

You have two options without/with that "do".

For how much longer we have to endure [this] social isolation, no one knows.
For how much longer do we have to endure [this] social isolation? No one knows.

That doesn't work for me at all. Remove "for" and it's fine.
