On the one hand, we have someone saying "here is a precise way to ask a question that will get the exact answer I want" and that's true. On the other hand, there are many other people saying "no one would ever say that spontaneously, many people would not understand that question if asked, and there is a more natural way to ask the question that will still probably get the answer you want in the form you want it and certainly get the information you want, even if it's not phrased the way you'd hoped it would be." Clearly,

I'm in the latter group. I see nothing wrong with the answer "six" when I'd secretly hoped the answer would be "sixth."

I don't see how continued dialogue on this is productive and as Tdol's image points out, we're on the verge of becoming unfriendly. So, let's wrap it up.
