Hello -

What words should I use in these examples of emphatic pattern? (Correct me, please, if it is not so called.) I have never heard the term "emphatic pattern," but I understand what you're trying to say.

1. It is/was yesterday that/when I met her.
2. It is/was in her office that/where she was shouting at her staff.
3. It is in 2018 that/when we will establish a new branch in San Diego.
4. It is/was my dad that/who gave me a call just now.

Thanks.

Do you have a teacher? What does your teacher say?

Thanks for correcting my question.

I do not have a teacher. I am trying to help a child who has the questions for me. Would you like to give an answer?

Or else how can I prove I am not a student? What about browsing my previous threads where I once mentioned I have a daugther?

We are too busy to browse your previous threads to refresh our memories about your background.

We are not going to do the homework of your friend's child.
