A Dictionary of Finance and Banking (Oxford Paperback Reference)

Good reference book that contains a lot of the finance and banking specialist lingo. Maybe not for a veteran, but certainly for anybody relatively new in the field, it contains a lot of abbreviations and explanations that save you a lot of time from searching through the web.

As a trainee finance lawyer I was constantly looking for a comprehensive book which would demistify the many acronyms and finance terms I would be bombarded with on a daily basis. This volume then arrived and it pretty much transformed my working life. It had almost every term I looked for along with handy explanations of certain key areas. It has now been well thumbed through but the stiff paper and sturdy spine are still holding out. Highy recommended for anyone interacting with banking and finance worlds. One word of caution - as these areas can develop rapidly make sure you pick up the latest edition.

A must have for anyone who works in banking/finance as it allows you to look up simple definitions.
