This book has too much stuff on each page and is totally unreadable, especially if you try and glance at it with a toddler in the room. I would stick with the Toddler's busy book (which has simple ideas at the top of each page and then detailed descriptions underneath. Will probably end up at the charity shop unread, it's a shame as probably has some useful tips in it.
I bought a lot of different kind of books about how to educating your baby or preschool child. This is the best book I have.
I got this book from the library and ended up buying it. This book is completely full with loads of ideas of how to develope your child and entertain them at the same time. It goes from birth upto 5years old. Nearly all the ideas in the book you can do using everyday items in your home. The idea of making your own cooker out of boxes and paint is an example. Colour drawing withing the book for children having fun and learning at the same time. It is easy to read and is straight to the point.
Great book! If you buy this book, don't buy entertaining and educating babies and toddlers, because it has all the contents of this book at the beginning of entertaining and educating your preschool child! This book is full of great ideas and activities, some of which you probably do anyway with your child. I've found it very useful.
I got this out of the library and it was so good I bought a copy. It has been in print for 15 years or so and it's not surprising: most people who have seen mine have also bought one. One tip - if anything requires bells you can get them from pet shops. Health and safety regs preclude haberdashers from selling bells with ringers, which rather defeats the object! SIMILAR ITEMS:
