Journey into the Deaf-World

I needed to get this book for a Deaf Perspectives class at my college, but now that I have read it I am glad. The book gives a good idea of what it like to grow-up as a Deaf person and how to deal with it. I think this book is good for anyone who has just become deaf or has just learned that their child is deaf. It will help them understand what life is going to be like and also that it is not the end of the world.

This is one of the most exquisite, rich and compelling views into the beauty of Deaf Culture. This book gives an extremely well-rounded view into the history, current issues, and future trends in the Deaf-World.
