Determine the language competency level of your adult/young adult ESOL students with one of the best known and most widely used testing instruments in the ESOL field for over 20 years. CELT is a diagnostic test designed to measure the English language proficiency of secondary to adult ESOL learners at the intermediate to advanced levels. The CELT consists of three sections to facilitate student placement: Listening, Structure, and Vocabulary. All three tests are combined in one test book, but may be administered separately. Ten test books are packaged together as a set.
